Fort York Guard appears at numerous events The Fort York Guard and Drums have appeared at several high profile events around Toronto recently to highlight the War of 1812 Bicentennial. They were at the Garrison Ball in January, served as the guard of honour when Prince Charles visited the Fort York Armoury on May 22 for a Military Muster (see page 6 above), at four performances by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra during Bicentennial launch week, and at St. James’ Cathedral for a special evensong service on June 17.
