Save-the-date for Friends’ AGM, June 21 Two hundred years ago, on 18 June 1812, President James Madison declared war on Great Britain. Please save the evening of Thursday, 21 June 2012, for the eighteenth Annual General Meeting of The Friends of Fort York and Garrison Common. Besides hearing reports and electing directors, we will socialize and look forward to a busy 2012 Bicentennial year. Notices will be sent to members of the organization in good standing in mid-May.
