New fifes in the field Our fifes and drums, in the uniforms of the Canadian Regiment of Fencible Infantry, have never sounded better. Led by Drum Major Stuart Murray and Fife Major Sarah O’Keefe, they began this season with a brand-new matching set of four Model F fifes. Tuned to B flat, they’re of grenadilla wood with short brass ferrules.
